They're linked from PV's adult links so tried them. They seem most interested in pocketing money. As a free member you can't send or receive messages, you can't have anything close to contact information in your profile text. Whether by design or not I haven't been able to search or change my location from some default in KS. Their pages are slow too. I'm trying to decide if the whole site is just a ripoff.
Well Buttercups that's the nicest offer I've had in oh, 18 years or so. PV isn't really a dating site, so I signed up for a month. I guess it's not so bad. I just had an interesting Yahoo chat with a woman in Utah I met on there. The site sent me about 30 emails today, I've got to turn some categories off. And they'll automatically renew your subscription at the end of the month, I didn't even authorize them to keep my credit card number. 3 times now I've had to replace my debit card because of fraudulent purchases made by someone else.
The site though is similar to PV in that some people have nude profile pics, some not. You send somebody a "wink" if you're curious about them. One thing that bugs me is that everyone can specify a target range they're interested in, but that's kept private so you send winks and messages and get a lot of bounces. I don't plan to renew.
There's no verification that people are who they say they are. I've been getting winks and messages from women in their 30s (supposedly) who have no photo and no profile. One just disappeared, apparently the account was closed. Reminds me of some shady PV accounts. I've been chatting with someone from Utah, now she says she's in Ghana. I have a picture but no way to know it's actually her. I signed on for a month and I'm getting my $20 worth. I did find a married woman 20 miles from me listed, haven't heard back from her. The site may be legit but they don't filter out the riff-raff. Or maybe this is all cooked up by the site to make things more interesting, could be written into their software.
I got one of those by email a few months ago, they sent a picture of a very attractive young black woman, she was supposedly from Nigeria. It mentioned reading something in my profile and the only profile I had was on PV so I thought she'd somehow gotten my email address through PV. After a few emails it occurred to me she wasn't actually reading anything I wrote, they were just sending canned emails. So I googled and found the exact text of the emails I'd gotten used for someone else.
It's not that the site is bad although some stuff looks old, it's just that some of the people on it are. Nobody can post there for free, so these are paying members. At the first mention of money I'll drop this contact. I have found some women within 20 - 50 miles of me. They have to be paid up or they'd get dropped. It's the same as here in that anybody can open an account and call themselves whatever they want.
There's no sense of community like here, no forums, no chat room, nothing for random interchanges between members. There's no place to say that so-and-so is a fake. There's an odd thing in that you can send people gifts. You buy credits and you can send them to people. Masked prostitution?
The only thing like broken English is that this woman (supposedly) who's been writing to me keeps using "differents" instead of difference. Supposedly she's from Utah and in the picture she sent she looks Native American, so it could be legit. I'm playing detective. :)
