I went through grade school in the 70's IN a town so small we had no stop light end to end., I guess you were just more mature at that age than I was. I don't think I even realized photos were touched up in the magazines at that time.

Just picked up on this thread....got to say....Its the more mature ladies that attract me to this site....all the younger models,are just that..models....can see them on a million other sites....it's the real ladies that do it for me....I applaud all the women here who post chat n cam...

Firstly, thank you hanginout for making me aware of this thread; much appreciated.

I've read through the thread twice now in the interest of being thorough AND more importantly, because this is a topic that seems to be significant to our users.

Before, I give you any input, I'd like to address a few things and I do hope you bear with me.

We have a policy in place that states "If person in pictures/videos appears to be under 25 years of age, ask for proof of age by way of ID". By law, people aged 18 and above can post but we have made it policy to ID anyone that looks under 25. No ID means you're not getting posted.

It appears that people think PV is not appreciative of older women and this couldn't be any further away from the truth. We didn't close down the mature section because we're not appreciate, or because we feel that our users don't appreciate mature women, or because we got bored with the mature submissions. At PV, we are equal opportunity perverts and tits of all (legal) ages, sizes, shapes and colours (except blue) are welcomed and ogled with equal intensity.

So why did we "close down" (I don't like to think we did but I'll touch on this later) the MILF section? It didn't get many submissions was a HUGE factor and because it didn't get many submissions, it didn't get much exposure in terms of views and votes. I spent a little time this morning going over some basic numbers and here they are:

These represent the number of MILF/Mature contris that received at least one vote in the respective month:

January: 112 MILF/Mature contris voted on
February: 55 MILF/Mature contris voted on
March: 73 MILF/Mature contris voted on
April: 37 MILF/Mature contris voted on

The site took on the new format on April 26th so the following figures show contris that received at least one vote in the respective month:

May: 137 MILF/Mature contris voted on
June: 152 MILF/Mature contris voted on
July: 175 MILF/Mature contris voted on

Now we know that not everything is a numbers game but we know for a fact that the less updates a section gets, the less people actually check it for updates, the less views it gets, the less votes it gets, etc. We were getting to a stage where it was getting increasingly difficult to update the MILF section even every second day and the numbers above show the decline in subsequent exposure and votes.

Back to the "close down" statement from above. Where some people feel we closed down a section, we like to think that we've consolidated and effectively increased exposure of MILF/Mature posts. We even went so far as to totally overhaul our competitions so MILFs and Matures would remain an integral part of the community even without them having their own section.

Thoughts and suggestions appreciated as always.

Amen to Mr Lucky!!! This was very well stated and so true. As a 43 year old MILF I love to post on here and my husband loves showing me off...and to Min...it does get frustrating and discourages some MILFS from constantly posting because the ratings are stacked against us due to the younger generations and the majority of men on the site that prefer the 'youthful' look rather than the maturity of a fine woman. We also have busy lives unlike alot of the 'young' ones on here that are able to post daily. There is a lot more beyond perky tits and a firm ass...and as stated in a previous post...wait until they have 1 or 3 kids and see what they look like (as long as they don't have any surgical enhancements). Stretchmarks, fine lines, a little cellulite and sagginess is a part of the natural aging process. Kudos to all of the men on here *especially our significant others" who love us for all that we are!!

I am all in on this too. I look for the mature female portion of the site first and then go on to the others, So I hope that more ladies will read this thread and post more. I'm waiting, thanks,
