Hey guys, I've been reading your thread and it does appear that for the MILF and Mature sections there is some confusion.

Although they are in the SAME list they are in fact two different contests.

MILF- No age restrictions, we can't ask anyone for proof of being a MILF we have to take there word on it

MATURE- Over 40.

We leave this for YOU the submitter to decide, if you submit to the MILF/Mature section and your over 40 and say you are a MILF then we will put you in MILF, don't mention MILF and you'll be in mature by default.

We try and do things are fairly as possible.

When it comes to voting system this does seem to cause some confusion also and this is a VERY IMPORTANT POINT ABOUT THE VOTING!!!
With the current server set up of PV we have many servers running the site with many members each on a different server; I'll try to explain how this affects the score that you see.

USER 1 on server 1 votes on a set of pics, he see's a score of 8

At the same time USER 2 on server 2 votes on the same pic only his server is behind server 1 so when he votes he doesn't see the vote of user 1 (yet) he only sees the score that he has just added so he's see an 8 also.

So when the two servers sync up only then will you get the exact score of the contri. Now multiply many users with many servers and you can see that the score updates when you vote is ONLY at that point updated with your vote and anyone else’s vote on the SAME server as you.

We also have load balancing on the servers so you may have started looking through pv on server one but as you surf you might have moved to server 2, so nothing is constant and the scores update continually, remember your not the only person looking and voting on a set of pics, when you vote that's only a split second view of the current score.

We have been working very hard for many years to deliver a fair voting system and we continually are trying to make it as fair as possible.

We have many ways of looking at voting patterns and we are well aware of people who create multiple accounts and people who continually down vote.

We can see the people who vote themselves a 10 and then every single other set of pics a 1 just because they want to win, is this fair we don't think so!

We know people leave nasty comments just to piss people off so that it's less competition for others or for the simple fact that they like putting others down, that why we have the function to report bad comments, if you report these comments we WILL remove them, we don't want to spoil the fun here we want to promote it!

We want this to be a fair and fun place to post and have a good time.

We do everything we can to stop cheating, the people doing the cheating and leaving bad comments know they are doing this, and those are the ones that try to spoil the fun. It's not only "free" users that cheat so not allowing them to vote won't stop the cheating and we do understand that not everyone can afford the premium membership but we'd still like them to enjoy the site too and have some level of interaction on the site.

We work hard daily to bring you a fun place and we really do appreciate that so many of you have such strong opinions on the site that shows that you also care about PV and that means a lot to us.

It's just a FACT that people will try and cheat, a FACT that everybody likes different things, we wish that everyone could respect that and act with a bit of human kindness when viewing images, these are REAL people that are behind every set of pictures with feelings, no one posts to be told nasty things, everyone has there flaws the old adage saying "nobody is perfect" is pretty spot on, so before leaving that hurtful comment just think if this was a friend of yours would you be so harsh?

Is spending time creating different accounts to vote others down and yourself up really fair? To win via cheating?

Really folks at the end of the day, we try hard to make everything as fair as we possibly can, I've tried to explain as much as I can and hope you guys can see it from our side too.

Ed....at the end of the day....(and the beginning) You've done a very good job at trying to make everyone happy...I say "Kudo's" to all that make this site even possible, but even more "Kudo's" for taking the time to even care what your members think and ask for.
