Hello all, with that special day of "Love" coming up, thought maybe we, as a cummunity service open up discussions to avoid those awkward mistakes from the past. Like, how would i know she didn't want a new vacuum for Valentines day. I'd be happy with a new drill. Geeez. Or for those that have had so many of them that they are looking for something different than the usual, ya know, pretend to pick up the significant other in a bar and take them to a cheap motel. With the eyesight failing afraid who you may pick up.

So with that in mind, ladies, guys, tell us, what has been some of the most romantic Valentines day activities and/or gifts you've had.........or like to have. Something that increases the odds of getting lucky, yanno, a good meal, with good company, and a great handshake at the end of the night.

How about just saying I love you more today than I every thought possible when we first met and I couldn't imagine my life without you in it.....keep it simple and keep it real.

Unless ya hate her and she is the Bane of your existence...then this might not be appropriate...lol

So much romance in this room. Who knew?
I'm liking Beasty's idea of a secret love. Mystery and intrigue. Let your special someone go through his or her day , smiling at everybody, not knowing who sent it.

Dang, have to admit, beast has a good idea. Orders a dozen roses to be given out........................ one at a time.

LOL, Min, marketing opportunity, Have a button people could click to order and deliver Roses. Just like those ladies selling flowers in bars late at night.

And also agree that it should be each day, everyday. And if you are with the right person in your life, you do it. It comes automatic. But sometimes life does get in the way, long separations, work schedules, kids, parents, deployments (some understand this) that it sometimes is good to have a day set aside to remind you to express your feelings and refocus on the things in life that brings you happiness.
