It seems like someone went in and voted a half a star on every Male photo submission recently. That is certainly any user's prerogative, though it seems a little mean spirited to me. Obviously it doesn't really matter, but the male submissions get so few votes that it has really thrown of the ratings for all.
I guess what I am saying is if you like male photos you should go in a take a look and vote your honest opinion so that the ratings have some meaning. If you don't like male photos they are pretty easy to avoid all together.

I was watching the votes and views on an earlier contri of mine and finally figured out that (1) not every viewer votes, and (2) the rating is an average of maybe a small number of votes. You could have 1000 views and 2 people who voted. If 1 of those 2 people didn't like the post, there goes the rating. You can only hope that more people will vote it up later. Each individual vote becomes less significant when more people vote.

I tend to err the other way by voting women up, trying to raise their average. I mean, it doesn't cost anything and if someone is attractive enough for me to go there in the first place they usually get at least 4.5 I don't think I've ever voted lower than a 3 and that was well above their average. Looks like I got the dreaded half star, oh well.
