my morning habit is coffee, news, chat.
coffee was great, chat - ok.
it's the news that's been making me sad for days.
it's not going to get better, the downward spiral of discourse has take on a life of it's own.
bullying - at schools, classes of people.
the sad thing du jour, was from a w virgina mayor, taking a parting shot a michelle.
i'm an immigrant, from long ago. the industry I work in has a very high pcntg of immigrants.
today i'm sending in my property tax payment. they're just like me, buying things, keeping their lives clean, raising their kids by example.
yes, immigrants have their share of undesirables... the industry I work in requires a great deal of personal responsibility, skills, knowledge - and respect for fellow humans. we're all paid well, and that does a lot for the quality of home life.
but i'm sad. I don't wish to be placated here.
the bullying/being bullied has blinded everyone to the fact that they are the target - their quality of life is being threatened, environment, education, medicare, ss.
disrespecting our fellow humans, not to mention our own family members to even a minimum wage, is absolutely shameful.
When love is your greatest weakness, you will be the strongest person in the world.
