friends/link requested? rating/et al   Reply to topic

i'm new, before i bother anyone i try to find the answer, but i'm baffelled
by a couple things
1. i hit "my friends & see about 8 profiles.
but less than an hr earlier, coming in from my yahoo mail link, there were 14 friends & an additional 9 "link requested"
where are they??? why can't i find them from my drop down window under my name??

2. ratings, again i saw a list around 10. when i scrolldown i only get the last one last left a rating, so how do i find those missing pieces??

3. when i see "link requested". does that mean i clicked their link, or are they inviting me?? if the latter, how do i accept? the direction up above says "accept friends requests from other users"
ok. how do i accept???

finally, how can i be alerted to a members friends request at my yahoo mailbox, but in the 2 hrs i've been on PV nothing has shown up on my internal message page.
same for profile rating, yahoo gets notified but my message board does not.
makes no sense.
